I have enjoyed studying at this school for one year. When I first came to Japan, my Japanese was very poor. Thanks to my teachers’ careful and kind assistance, my Japanese has improved a lot. Now I am happy to have been accepted by the university with admission upon
recommendation. The teachers are kind enough to offer consultation. Now teachers and I became intimate like friends. I am going to study at an university from April. I’m very motivated to continue my study. If you want to study Japanese, please come to this school. It’s the best school! |

Wu Chia Chun(Taiwanese, female)
As this school is located in Tokyo, the scale isn’t big, but very hearty. I have been studying in the one year course of this school. I have learned not only Japanese, but also made many friends. I have learnt a lot from them. |

Eric (Indonesian, male)
My Japanese is not good enough, but I have been experiencing a lot of new things. I’m very motivated to do my best to learn Japanese. |

Chen Ye (Chinese, male) The teachers here respect each students and we could have learnt not only Japanese but also integrated knowledge. If you are bored of studying with your textbooks, why don’t you study with your teacher by watching movies? It’s not the matter of how much you can memorize, but how much you can utilize. This teaching method will give you more chances to pass the 1st level of the Japanese Language Aptitude Test in only one year time. |

Name (one of our graduates) is introduced in the book “Instruction of Studying Japanese in Japan 2006-2007” published by Tokyo Vocational College Association and the Association of Japanese Language Education Promotion.

It has been almost 10 years since I left Japan after studying photpgraphy for 6 years in Japan. My studies at Tokyo Kogakuin Japanese Language school have become my most cherished and precious memories over the last 16 years. I made many friends there. Teachers there had always encouraged me to do my best in everything I tried. The school gave me the self confidence and motivation to continue studying. I was successfully accepted to the university that I had wanted to enter after studying Japanese at this school. It’s all thanks to the teachers there. I appreciate their kindness forever. |

Park Jin-Soo (Korean, male)
I started the course 2 months later than my other classmates. At that time, what I knew was only hiragana, and it was very difficult to catch up the others in the class. However, the teachers were kind enough to take great care of me, and now I’m happy to have passed both the university entrance exam and the Japanese Language Aptitude Test Level 1. This school is the school that you want! Please join us!

I have finished the one and a half year-course in this school. I could make many friends from all around the world. Together, we made many precious memories. At this school, you can make many friends, and have wonderful experiences, while studying Japanese. |

Kim Aida (South Korea)
I started my lessons on hiragana when I entered this school in April. Although I have only studied for half a year, because my teachers taught me from the basics, I am able to speak naturally. In this school, you can learn real language you can use in everyday life. As the atmosphere here is very good, I am able to study very comfortably. Also, the teachers give you good course counseling for the students who are moving to higher classes next year. Teachers always help the students, so I am very thankful for this school. |

Ro Seitatsu(China)
Before I came to Japan, I had already studied Japanese, and could understand daily conversations in Japanese. So when I first arrived to Japan, I had thought that my Japanese skills don’t need to improve. Because I came to Japan to study Japabese cartoons, and they don’t require much Japanese skills, I was not motivated to learn any higher level Japanese. However, after entering this school, and having my classes, I began to think that I could not stay the same. I began to believe that even if my drawing skills are good, I need better Japanese skills in order to become a Japanese cartoonist. I was emotionally moved when my teachers encouraged me. This school is the best because it teaches you a lot more than just Japanese! |

Ming Rapon (Myanmar)
After graduating a skills college in Myanmar, I had wanted a higher level education. I decided to learn in Japan, where my cousin studied as a over sea student. I searched the internet for Japanese language schools, and I found Tokyo Kougakuin Japanese Language School. This school has more than 30 years of history, cheap tuition, and 5 hours of class everyday. In addition, it has a professional school as its sister school. I knew right away that this school has good condition.
After entering, I found out that the teachers are very caring, and that this whole school is one big family. The teachers give you a very logical teaching style, and it is easy to understand. It has been 5 months since I came to Japan, and my Japanese skill has improved dramatically. I am confident enough to talk with native Japanese people, and am very thankful to the teachers who gave me this skill.
This school is genuine fun. If anyone is interested in Japan, I advise you to learn in this school. |

Rak Sanawadee AKA Duan(Thailand)
When I first arrived in Tokyo, I couldn’t speak nor understand Japanese. I thought that learning would be an extremely difficult task. However, as I studied in Tokyo Kogakuin Japanese Language School, I found that learning Japanese was very fun, and at the same time interesting. The teachers here are very patient, dedicated and clever to making the simple learning system, so I didn’t have any difficulties following it. I think my Japanese improved in alacrity and I thank this school for that. |

Wu Ting-Ting (Taiwan)
After working 5 years in Japanese company, I decided to recharge in Japan. My senior worker (a graduate of this school, Mr. XXX) advised me to attend Tokyo Kogakuin Japanese Language School, and I followed. At first I didn’t know any Japanese, but in 3 months, I was good enough to be interviewed for a magazine called “Nihon Ryugaku Shinan” I would not have believed this 3 months ago.
I can only be amazed to the energetic classroom atmosphere teachers provide, and their perseverant teaching policy, where they continue to explain until the students get the facts. Also, because the teachers talk freely about their daily lives to the students, it feels as the whole school is a giant group of friends. This school allows you to learn Japanese, and have fun at the same time. |

I studied in Tokyo for 5 years, worked in Kumamoto Prefecture for a year, and now I work for China Omron Koshu Automatics Company.. I have many memories in Japan, and most of all, the most important was my period of stay at Tokyo Kogakuin Japanese Language School. The teachers not only taught me in classes, but gave me guidance to a higher school. This school was the start for my strong relationship with Japan. Those who want to study in Japan, please come to Tokyo Kogakuin Japanese Language School |

Ling Hoyu AKA Simon Lam (Hong Kong)
It has been 20 years since I graduated Tokyo Kogauin Japanese Language School, but it all seems like yesterday. It was a natural process for me to move to Japan 20 years ago, but come to think about it, I had never thought it would affect my life so strongly. Including my 3 years working in Japan, I had stayed in Japan for 8 years. During my stay, I had learned many from the Japanese people I met. The teachers who worked hard to teach me Japanese, my neighbors who gave me dailies, the university professor who gave me professional education, my co-workers in Japan, were all great supporters. My view towards the world has been created based on the kindness of these people. From my experience, I came to a thought that I must give something back to the world. Even now, I am constantly thinking for ways I could help the world. For me, this way of thinking is the greatest gift that my visit to Japan has provided me. Obviously, achieving Japanese in Tokyo Kogauin Japanese Language School was an important factor. I could not have done this without the support of the teachers at Tokyo Kogauin Japanese Language School. Teachers, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. |

Ling Shunran (Taiwan)
I had studied in Tokyo Kogauin Japanese Language School from October 1992, to March 1994. My brother, Lin Haruki is also a graduate from this school. Even several years after graduation, I still remember this school. I could have overcome the hardness of learning language thanks to my teachers. It was only a year and a half, but it was also the most important time of my life. “Japan today”, the once a week lesson given by the principal (already retired) gave me some breathing space from my other classes. One day in the class, he taught us the word “Sugasugashi” and its meaning. He said that this word would definitely be in the test, so I memorized it. I placed this word in my memory box, and had not forgotten it ever since. Later, this word did come out in a test. However, for me, the word “Sugasugashi” means my principal. I believe this image comes from the great personality that the principal has. As for me, I am determined to learn more accurate, clean Japanese without forgetting my basics.
I am Xin Uyon from South Korea. I graduated in the spring of 1996. It has been 10 years since I graduated; however remembering my study at Japanese School still makes my heart feel lively. There were many fun and happy experiences, but the fact that it was my first step into a new world, still makes my heart beat quickly with joy. The teacher’s strong emotions towards classes and their pride have encouraged me. This led me to become the representative of the oversea students in my university, and my city. After entering a university, I was chosen to be the prefectures friendship ambassador, and worked hard as the graduate of Tokyo Kogauin Japanese Language School. Now, I am back in South Korea, working my profession in machine engineering, using my Japanese skills well. Also, I have two sons and a wife who works as an elementary school teacher. I believe that my life is happier than anyone else. Some time ago, by coincidence, I had come close to this school for business relations. I decided to visit the school and noticed that the teachers had changed, with the way classes are run. However the student’s dreams and their attitudes made myself remember my time as a student. I would like to make a comment to them as a senior graduate. “Please ask yourselves why you have come to Japan. Do your best!”
I would like mention that one teacher’s kindness made me the man I am today. That teacher I met in this school is still my most important teacher.
